first idea was to do robotics thursday, but i'm not free on thursday evening:

point welder: brainstorming[edit]
point-welder -- howto build one ? brainstorming ideas
- little movie on how arthur ganson makes gears for his artworks -- tube-vid-- at 1'44 he uses a handheld spot welder to temporarily fix joints, at 2'00 he smears something onto the joints (what?) and then welds them with a acetylene gas torch.

- ptr_ would like to point-weld aluminium plates (scrap metal left over from offset-printing process) -- would that be possible with spot-welder ?
