The MediaWiki implementations presented in this talk are two mapping extensions; Maps and Semantic Maps. An introduction to the used platforms, MediaWiki and Semantic MediaWiki will be given at the start, followed by a description of what the extensions can do, and how to use them.

The presentation will take place on February 4th, at 19:42, and will last for about an hour. It will be held at a presentation room at Zebrastraat, 9000 Gent, Belgium. The accommodations are provided and paid for by Alain Liedts.

This presentation is suited for everyone who is interested in MediaWiki (or wiki's in general), the semantic web and data virtualization in the form of mapping. You will first be introduced to the involved technologies, so no technical background is required.
