The first of a long series of weekly workshops dedicated to anything web-development-related, and open to beginners. We'll be starting with xhtml strict/transitional and CSS basics, then move on to php/mySQL, javascript and jQuery, html5/CSS3, templating and probably some CMS.
This workshop won't be planned forward much, so that we can adapt to demands and proposals (for instance if any python enthusiast whishes to share some wisdom).
Requirements
For this session : Bring your own laptop (any OS will do the trick).
Later : Have Xampp/Lampp installed (or nginx if you feel more familiar with it) and a good text editor (I recommend this one : http://www.activestate.com/komodo-edit/downloads) or IDE. Some imaging software such as Gimp or Inkscape might be useful but not absolutely necessary.
