Merda Elettronica is an open workshop about circuit bending and hacking concepts, focused on the building of very simple and powerful squarewave synths based on the integrated circuit 40106 (day 1) and a consequential pattern generator / octaver using the 4040 (day 2). Workshops can last one or two days depending on the situations, if there's just one day we just explainthe synth part.

We start from the beginning and no previous knowledge is needed; we explain what's electricity, how it works, what the components does, how to recycle and put them together to create simple squarewave synths, alongside various other circuit bending / hacking techniques and tips.

We focus the workshops on solder-less breadboard, and we bring all the components and every participant can buy them at the end of the workshop, alongside with ready-made kits.
