• Learn and understand the MSP430 architecture
• Learn how to use an assembler, simulator
• Get hands dirty with simple assembly coding

Prerequisites

• Very basic programming notions
• Naken430 installed on your PC (http://www.mikekohn.net/micro/naken430asm_msp430_assembler.php)
• MSPDebug installed (see http://hackaday.com/2010/08/11/how-to-launchpad-programming-with-linux)
• Your Launchpad (if possible)

What we will probably do

• Basic IO (Leds, Button)
• Using Timer
• Thermometer and other ADC usage
