house status[edit]

  • 1st floor flooring
  • organisation of the space: what happens where? check this wiki page Space_layout
  • formal thanks to Fred/Askarel and Ivan for the huge job done already
  • the osb wood... i can go back to the supplyer but they only give 80% .. so we lose about 150 euro
  • an extention after the 2 years we have left seems unlikely
    • we should make a list of what we are prepared to do because the owner seems not to keen on an extension.
    • the GA decides that michael has our confidince in dealing with the owner
    • how much are we renovating depending on extension of the rent contract
  • member shelves for real -= with osb?
    • we can build them in the Small storage room behind the kitchen
    • Part for member shelves - a dedicated shelf for every member is a requirement if you want to run a clean desk policy
    • Other part for HSBXL stuff (cash register, etc...
    • we will make a task-group . anybody interested in this talk to wouter after the meeting

setting rules for stuff that comes in/thrown out[edit]

  • Personal stuff goes to your shelf.
  • Bringing in stuff to the space "for the group" -> Only if the group agrees (f.e. oscilloscope)
  • If you need more space than your shelf: discuss on the mailinglist - decisions happen on Tech Tuesday.
  • trashure - throw a picture on the mailinglist and find someone who actually wants to adopt it BEFORE brining it to the space. - adoption policy
  • Ramon offers to do a regular drive to containerpark with the trash

varia[edit]

  • do we hire a cleaning person?
    • This option is principally okay - practical part must be researched first.
  • stickers - do we discuss this? Or can someone do this.
    • lucas is working on this
=== what is the purpose of the extra money in our bank account ===
  • we bought a beamer with the chip-in model ... this took a looong time and was a huge hassle
  • are we continuing the "chip-in"-model or do we go for a "continuous investment"-model?
    • we keep 2000 € of a war-chest (we will revisit this in 2014)
    • we have agreed that there should be money from the space to buy tools
    • we need a decision model for spending money
      • if you want to buy something ... send a prpoposal to the mailinglist
      • we can have these discussions on the tuesday meeting .. whatever is discuss on the meeting gets posted to the mailing list.. gets discuss again on the next tuesday and that deicision is final
    • to buy stuff we will set a budged and delegate a single person (or small group) to buy it (preferably the person who proposed it)

changing membership fee[edit]

  • We will raise the monthly fee to €15 (pay more if you think it's honest)
  • People who can't afford this, can pay €10
  • we encourage paying more
  • we also ecourage having non-members pay at a workshop

Changing bank'[edit]

  • we drop argenta -- for Belfius (two boardmembers live next to one agency with automated cash deposit)
  • cash can be dropped there easily
  • no more headaches

who pays the BBQ '

Next GA planning: December 2013 ?

IDEAS FOR THE PATTERNS (house rules)[edit]

  • hackers should be judged by their hacking, not criteria such as degrees, age, race, sex, or position
  • work you do here is voluntary, not compensated in any way, not even drinks.
  • the space is yours (you pay the rent) - feel at home, treat it so.
  • you make a mess, you clean it NOW.
  • you use it, you clean it or dispose before you leave(desks, kitchen, tools)
  • your member shelves is there to use it, don't store personal stuff elsewhere
  • be excellent to each other (both in real and on the mailinglist)
  • if you hurt yourself at the space, then you are responsible (there's a hospital really close if it's bad)
  • if you break some make a best effort to fix it, or ask for help - at least step up and take responsibility.

CHECK ART. 14 OF STATUTES - our hous rules check this point?
